70’s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X Released Outside of Japan for the First Time

We are proud to be able to continue working on unique titles that have never previously had the chance to be released outside of Japan. Starting with Milano’s Odd Job Collection, we’re now excited to have been able to partner with Bliss Brain to bring 70’s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X to Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S!

This zany 2D side-scrolling shooter encompasses all that is wonderful about the super robot anime genre in a fun and challenging adventure battling the Cosmic Demon Empire to save Earth. Styled as though you are watching and taking part in each episode, Geppy-X features the original Japanese audio, including iconic voices from classic 90’s anime such as Akira Kamiya, Shō Hayami, Shūichi Ikeda, Ichirō Nagai, Gorō Naya, and more. To benefit the wider global audience, the game now provides subtitles in English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

The soundtrack includes legendary anime theme artists Isao Sasaki, Akira Kushida, and Hironobu Kageyama, and Bliss Brain has painstakingly worked to fully restore the 8,000 hand-drawn frames from the original Betacam tapes and re-digitize them to 24fps while providing optional upscaling. After finishing the game, unlock 6 extra modes, including Boss Rush, Alternate Timelines, and Experimental Episode Variants!
